EP5 - Mobile Mixed Phases
Goals
In contact areas of ascending ground waters and leak waters, accumulation, formation conditions and transformation processes of mineral organic (nano)particulate solid phases are characterized and modeled. We use complementary spectro-microscopic methods. This is the first step to say if ascending waters can be used as natural tracers to characterize flow- and transport processes. Characterization of flow and transport processes is a centre point of INFLUINS. In a next step physico-chemical and bio-chemical conditions to form and stabilize (nano)particles for technical implementation are identified and labeled.
